Kallol Das is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Kyungpook National University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Das has over eight years of experience in Environmental Mycology, Crop Protection, Disease Diagnosis, Phylogenetics, Systematics (Taxonomy), Phytopathology, Molecular Mycology, Fungal Biotechnology, Mycotoxins, Disease Resistance, Plant Disease Management, Forest Pathology and Host-Pathogens Interaction. Das learned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Das has also discovered 10 novel fungal species and identified 20 previously unknown fungal species in South Korea, as well as investigated several diseases caused by various causal agents in strawberries, apples, grapes, and perrilla leaves, as well as participated in integrated pesticide and fungicide management.
