Biography

Eric Black graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He served as a medical officer in the United States Air Force and completed his training in Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He currently works as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Southern Illinois University Department of Psychiatry where he is active in research, teaching, and patient care.

Psychopharmacology Specifically addiction pharmacology Unique psychiatric cases Post-traumatic stress disorder Various aspects of substance abuse and Chronic mental illness
