Giuseppe Lanza is Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Researcher at the “Oasi†Institute for Research on Mental Retardation and Brain Aging (I.R.C.C.S.) in Troina (Italy) [Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization]. After graduation with honours in Medicine, he trained at the School of Neurology and got the international PhD at the University of Catania (Italy). As visiting clinical research Fellow, he further trained at the Department of Neuroscience, Newcastle University (UK). In 2013 he was selected for a Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies. From October 2015, he has been teaching Neurology at the “Kore†University of Enna (Italy). He have co-authored more than 80 publications in international refereed Journals and Conferences and serve as Editorial Board member and invited Reviewer of several international Journals. Recently, he got the Master of Science in “Clinical Research†and the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor (procedure for the Italian University Professor position recruiting, based on scientific qualification criteria).
