Biography

Daniel Balleza Mejía holds a PhD in Biochemical Sciences from Institute of Biotechnology – UNAM. He worked in postdoctoral Position in several institutes from 2006 to 2015, at present he is working as a research professor at National Technology of Mexico, Veracruz Campus. He also holds the memberships in the scientific societies such as the Biophysical Society, EC Proteomics and Bioinformatics, Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences, Red Mexicana de Metabolomics, Frontiers in Microbiology, etc. He has achieved awards such as the National Researcher (Sistema Nacional de Investigadores SNI 1 – CONACyT) (2022-2024) and Fulbright scholarship for the exchange of scholars México-USA (September 2008 - May 2009), as well as with his supervising activities he Participation as co-assessor. He also has good presentation skill for which he got invited towards internationally established conferences and/or international advanced schools. Daniel also participated in many workshops for gaining his experience.
