Biography

He was born in 5th October 1967 in a village/remote rural locality in India, completed secondary (1984) and higher secondary (1986) education from schools situated in rural areas of West Bengal India. Then he admitted in R G Kar Medical College, Kolkata, West Bengal in 1987 to pursue the undergraduate Medical Degree Course (M.B.B.S. in India) and completed the course in 1992. He achieved DCH (Diploma in Child Health) from B.C.Roy Post graduate Institute in Kolkata in 1999 and completed M.D. (Pharmacology) in 2007 from University College of Medicine, Kolkata. In the meantime, He joined West Bengal Health Service (WBHS) in a remote rural Area of West Bengal at 1998 and served there for three and half years. He later joined West Bengal Medical Education Service (WBMES) in 2002 as R.M.O.-Clinical Tutor cum Assistant Superintendent in General Medicine and thereafter promoted sequentially to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and now continuing the same service as Professor and Head of the Department in Pharmacology in Nilratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
