Sheng Huang is a lecturer at the Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU), China. He is specialized in the cementitious materials, nano materials, synthetic polymers and cement slurry, functional spacer fluids and drilling fluids for primary cementing and drilling process. He received her PhD degree in Oil and Gas Well Drilling Engineering in 2018. He has leaded 12 research projects (all projects acted as PI) funded by Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Natural Science Foundation of Sichuan Province, Open Fund of State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation and CNPC, et al. In recent years, he has focused on the functional modification of cementitious materials by nano materials, synthetic polymers used for primary cementing in ultra-high temperature and ultra-deep well. He is co-author of 30 publications in international scientific journals (12 as first author or corresponding author) and granted 24 patent (7 as first inventor). His experience in supervision of research includes co-direction of two PhD Dissertations and five MS Dissertations. He serves as youth editorial board member in national peer-reviewed journals of Fault-Block Oil & Gas Field and reviewer in international peer-reviewed journals of Petroleum Exploration and Development, Construction and Building Materials, Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology, Natural Gas Industry B, Petroleum, et al.
