Biography

Dr. Ivanei Ferreira Pinheiro holds a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from the State University of Amazonas (2009), a Masters degree (2012), and a Ph.D. (2016) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Campinas - UNICAMP. He has experience in the field of chemical engineering, with a focus on Chemical Technology, primarily working on the following topics: Polymers, Nanocomposites, Thermal Characterization, Rheology, Nanoparticles, Paraffins, and Asphaltenes. From 2017 to 2019, he was employed at the Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory at Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials, where he conducted research focused on surface modifications and the production of nanoparticles for applications in the automotive industry. At present, he serves as a researcher at the Center for Energy and Petroleum Studies, State University of Campinas, focusing on critical areas like wax deposition, asphaltene aggregation, and the application of nanotechnology in oil production.
