Jingya Zhang, female, is currently a scientific researcher in Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development, PetroChina. She works dominantly on the occurrence state, oil-bearing property characterization and movability evaluation of shale oil. In 2020, She got her Ph.D degree in geological resources and geological engineering in China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and mainly studied on the effectiveness of oil accumulation in tight sandstone reservoir. In 2018-2019, she worked as a visiting scholar in the Porous Media Laboratory (Porelab), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and participated in a research on pore structure characterization and modeling of tight sandstone reservoir, as well as physical and numerical simulation of tight oil accumulation. From 2013 to 2015, she was in her postgraduate stage in China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and her research interest was characteristics, formation mechanism and hydrocarbon potential of the mixed sedimentary rocks. In 2009-2013, she focused on the diagenesis of mudstones/shales, and acquired her B.S of geology in China University of Petroleum (East China). She has published nearly 20 journal articles and conference papers, and won Outstanding Youth Essay Award several times.
