Biography

Yulius Deddy Hermawan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta (UPNVY), Indonesia, 1998-present. He was graduated from undergraduate program of Chemical Engineering UPNVY in 1996. He received his Master of Chemical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, in 2001, and his Doctor of Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, in 2005. Now, he is teaching some courses, such as, Process Dynamic, Process Control, Thermodynamic, Process Simulation, Chemical Plant Design, and Heat Exchanger Network. He has more than fifteen years of experience in areas associated with the process design of surface production facility in the oil and gas industries. He has contributed in significant research in some areas such as, process design and control, process safety, process simulation, surface production facilities, and oil losses problem in the oil and gas industries.
