Biography

Daowei Gao is a professor and head of catalysis Research group in the department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at University of Jinan in China. He received his PhD degree from University of Petroleum (Beijing) in 2016. He was an assistant professor at University of Jinan (2016-2018). He was also postdoc fellowship in Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie GmbH in Germany (2018-2020). His research interests are in the area of heterogeneous catalysis, chemical reaction engineering and hydro-upgrading of inferior fuel. He has published more than 60 papers in international refereed journals, as well as chapters in books and is the holder of seventeen China patents.

Research Interests

Clean oil production (hydro-upgrading of inferior fuel) High-value utilization of waste plastic (hydrocracking of waste plastic etc.) etc.)
