Yang Yongming is working in School of Mechanical & Civil Engineering at China University of Mining & Technology, Beijing, China. His significant advancements include research achievements in describing and reconstructing 3D pore/fracture structure, fracture propagation theory, and supercritical CO2 seepage behaviors. The researcher has overseen more than 10 research projects funded by various organizations including the China National Natural Science Foundation Project, Sinopec Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute Science and Technology Research Project, Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Scientific research project, doctoral programs under the Ministry of Education, as well as the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project. He has received prestigious awards such as the China Coal Youth Science and Technology Award along with Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics Engineering. Moreover, he has won two first prizes for Natural Sciences at higher education institutions in China. He has authored over 50 academic papers including 21 indexed by SCI and 20 indexed
by EI. Furthermore, he has published an academic mono graph while obtaining two. Invention patents along with four Chinese invent ion patents.
