Biography

Prof. Yongliang Wang is currently a researcher in School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering, State Key Laboratory of Coal Resources and Safe Mining, at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). His research interests include high-performance adaptive finite element method, computation and analysis of rock damage and fracture, and structural vibration and stability. He is a board member of the Soft Rock Branch of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering and a member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, China Civil Engineering Society, and China Coal Society; moreover, he serves as a project expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and project expert of the Degree Center of Ministry of Education of China. He serves as the editor-in-chief of special issue and editorial board member of several international journals in the fields of mechanics, civil engineering, and energy engineering. As the person in charge, he presided over eighteen research projects, and published 4 books in English and more than 100 academic papers.

Numerical solutions of induced damage and fracture in mining engineering Numerical solutions of free vibration and stability for beam plate shell and solid and corresponding inverse eigenproblem in structural engineering Error estimation and adaptive mesh refinement analysis of finite element method
