Biography

Jitendra Kumar Sinha academic background includes an M.Sc. and Ph.D. earned from Patna University in India. Over the course of his career, he had the privilege of serving the Bihar Government in various capacities, culminating in his leadership of the Directorate of Economics & Statistics. Notably, he played an instrumental role in the successful implementation of the India Statistical Strengthening Project in Bihar.With over four decades of dedicated service in the realm of Applied Economics, National Accounts, and Official Statistics, he had cultivated a profound understanding of these disciplines. His commitment to these fields is further evidenced by his active membership in numerous National and International Associations dedicated to them. He had also generously contributed his expertise to several academic journals by aiding in the meticulous review of submitted papers. Having reviewed more than two hundred papers, he took great pride in his commitment to scholarly rigor. Additionally, his body of work includes publishing numerous papers in Applied Economics, National Accounts, and Official Statistics. These publications have found homes in a variety of esteemed National and International Journals.
