Mark Anthony G. Moyano is an Associate Professor of English, Literature and Literary Studies in Central Luzon State University. He was also a former Department Head of the said department.
After earning his Master of Arts in English degree in 2008 from the University of Baguio, Philippines, he continued his study and received his PhD in Literature degree in 2013 from Philippine Normal University, Manila. He was responsible for the creation of the curricular program Bachelor of Arts in Literature. At present, he is also the faculty in-charge of its revision. He also founded the organization CLSU-APOLLO (CLSU Association of Progressive and Orthodox Litterateurs and Literature Originators) whose primary concern is to promote the literature, literary studies, and creative writing. At present, he is the adviser of the organization.
With 17 years of academic experience, he has handled literature subjects, such as: Introduction to Literature and Literary Studies, Introduction to Literary Theory, Advanced Literary Theory and Criticism, the Postcolonial Tradition, Literature and Philosophy, Literary Research, British and American Literature, Contemporary, Emergent and Popular Literature and Children and Adolescent Literature.
Mark loves reading, writing, and a bit of photography. He is a father of two wonderful kids, and a husband to a loving wife.
