Biography

Paul Mendes-Flohris the former Director of the Franz Rosenzweig Minerva Research Center for German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he is Professor emeritus, He is currently the Dorothy Grant Maclear Professor of Modern Jewish History and Thought at the Divinity School, The University of Chicago. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
