Biography

Gaoyuan Wang is a bioinformatician at Yale University. She received her PhD in computational soft matter physics from the Georg August University of Göttingen in Germany. Her current research interests lie in understanding biological complex systems via large-scale datasets using interdisciplinary approaches. She works on the development and application of novel machine learning tools to analyze biomedical data. Her current interests lie in the application of quantum machine learning in biomedical researches, graph-based protein domain and function study, quantum-resistant cryptography for genomics data, as well as other disease-oriented genomics studies.
