Biography

Alejandro Heredia Barbero was born in Mexico City on December 26, 1975. He is a biologist from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He remained at Coyoacán, Mexico City, having contact with a cultural environment, earning his degree in biology in 2000 and his doctorate
degree in biology in 2006. He began his research activities at National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) performing studies about bone crystalline structure and afterwards in atomic force microscopy and computer simulations. He later became a PhD, doing a research stay in Germany (Münster University). Currently, Heredia works in the research team of Chemical Evolution at The Nuclear Sciences Institute, UNAM working on the radiation chemistry of small organic molecules.
