Biography

Professor at the Federal University of Western Para (Amazon region, Para, Brazil), where teaches the disciplines of Structural Biology, Omits Sciences, Drug Design, and Bioinformatics. Currently, works with bioinformatics, chemo metrics and molecular modeling tools applied to drug design and discovery using the following computational techniques: molecular dynamics simulation, molecular docking, binding free energy calculations, protein structure prediction, and chemo metrics tools applied to ligand- and structure-based virtual screening. His research fields focuses on bio prospecting of natural products, conformational mechanism of enzymes with medical interest, and drug discovery and design applied to neglected tropical diseases and cancer therapy.
