Ganesh Chandra Sahoo has been working in the area of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics since last fifteen years. He has graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has already been involved in various research works in RMRIMS (ICMR) since last ten years in the area of Drug Design, Biocomputing, Database Design, Virology, Nanomedicine & Drug Delivery, Clinical Engineering, C, C++, PERL, Javascript, Python, Data on Windows, Linux, Android platform. He has guided several research scholars including engineering and pharmaceutical students for their projects related to drug design against various diseases such as kala-azar and other viral diseases. He has also expertise in discovering novel miRNA analysis and expression. He is being involved in various projects related to Next Generation Sequencing and their sequence analysis for novel discovering novel etiological agents against various human diseases. He also keeps eye over novel drug delivery technologies such as nanotechnology methods which reduces the toxicity as well as dose of the compounds due to specificity to the target receptor.
