Dr. Vinay Raj’s expertise is in the areas of Bioinformatics and Public health. Dr. Raj completed his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a M.S in Public Health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He has experience working as an analyst for genomic research projects and teaching bioinformatics at the University level for many years. Dr.Raj’s research focusses on developing prognostic models and identifying prognostic markers for high grade tumors. His specialization is in the analysis of data generated through different omics methods. Dr. Raj’s research work also involves identifying biomarkers for different forms of cancer such as breast, myeloma, colon etc. through gene expression profiling studies. He has published research papers and presented his work at regional, national and international conferences. Dr. Raj also serves on research and academic committees.
