Biography

Jessica De Paiva is the Researcher, Developer and Founder of Known Systems, however she also serves as the Chief Informatics Operations Technologist of JAR Management Services LLC, where she leads the design and development of inline compliance gating and runtime policy enforcement middleware. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between high-level regulatory frameworks and execution-layer software controls. She holds the pending patent and has authored numerous publications detailing the "IUE" framework - a methodology for real-time safety gating, override traceability, and continuous risk surveillance in complex systems. Her research spans the operational validation of decision-support systems in healthcare, finance, and industrial sectors, with a particular focus on preventing operational drift, ensuring data provenance, and establishing immutable audit trails for safety-critical pipelines - including the integration of specialized plugins for biomedical workflows and digital imaging data pipelines.
