Biography

Nafees Ahmad is Professor of Immunobiology and Director of Immunity and Infection at the College of Medicine, University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He obtained his undergraduate and postgraduate education from the Aligarh Muslim University, India and Ph.D. from Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship from the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. His research has focused on HIV pathogenesis in younger and older population and children. He is also involved in medical and graduate education at the University of Arizona.
