Biography

Jiangwen Zhang is currently an Associate Professor of School of Biological Sciences, University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with major in Molecular Biology and had spent couple years at Harvard University working on Systems Biology before he moved to Hong Kong. His research interests range from functional analysis of genome to cell differentiation and diseases, especially the role of chromatin remodeler in development and diseases addressed by OMICS and Systems Biology approaches. He has authored or coauthored papers on journals such as Science, Nature, Nature Immunology, Nature Genetics, and Immunity, and Molecular Cell.

Research Interests

Functional analysis of genome to cell differentiation and diseases Chromatin remodeler in development and diseases.
