Biography

Tony Manuel Wilson Cachave is a researcher and public health manager with expertise in the articulation between epidemiological surveillance, information systems architecture, and the operationalization of immunization programs. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Tropical Medicine in the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Health Sciences at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
His career is based on a solid and multidisciplinary approach. He holds a Master's degree in Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology, a Professional Master's degree in Mid-Level Management, a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, and technical qualifications in Preventive Medicine and Environmental Sanitation. This formative matrix enables the convergence between the quantitative analysis of epidemiological data, the management of environmental determinants, and the optimization of decision-making processes in health.
In the field of public health management, he works as a public servant in the role of Provincial Manager of the Immunization Program, where he led the logistical navigation of the cold chain, the monitoring of vaccination coverage, the analysis of operational data, and the surveillance of adverse events. In the academic sphere, he dedicates himself to applied research in Epidemiology and Public Health, simultaneously acting as a scientific reviewer (peer reviewer) for the Academus Journal. His work stands out for its methodological rigor, the integrity and triangulation of epidemiological data, and the strengthening of public policies based on scientific evidence.
