Iliyasu A.A. Ibrahim is a Dr of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He works as an academic staff with the Department of Laboratory Technology Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Bayero University, Kano. A Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Jos, Nigeria. His Bias is in Clinical Nutrition, Vitamin A, HIV/AIDS and Malnutrition in children below the age of five. His working experience spans from Assistant Lecturer tthrough Senior Lecturer and now Principal lecturer.He has served in various capacities rendering administrative and community development services in addition to teaching and research. His research activities produced many publications in both National and International Journals of repute. He has presented numerous papers at various seminars, workshops and conference both National and International. His current researches are on designing a computer algorithm to detect and classify diabetic retinopathy and also currently working on genetically engineered bacteria in bioremediation of the polluted environment. He has served as a consultant to UNICEF and World Bank. He has taught in the fields of Biology and Chemistry. He has many commendation letters. He has been invited as guest speaker in many functions, conferences and symposia, both at home and abroad. He is rounding up his second PhD in Biomedical Engineering and another in Public Health. He is very passionate about population based interventions.
