Biography

Ritcha Saxena, is the Course Director and Chair, Department of Pathology at All Saints University School of Medicine at Dominica. She received her medical degree from the LLRM Medical College, India and pursued residency in Pathology from the same institution afterwards. She was also awarded a Gold Medal for her exceptional performance in Pathology. She has a broad background in Pathology, with specific training and expertise in Hematopathology and Transfusion Medicine. She has several years of experience from teaching at various medical schools all over the world including the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean and has had the opportunity to travel and train with various programs focusing on HIV/AIDS, Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking. She has also participated and conducted seminars on leadership and team building. Her passion for teaching has led to her involvement in researching the latest innovative methods in teaching Pathology. In addition, she also focuses on researching latest developments in different fields of Pathology.
