Biography

Leina Lu received her M.D degree in clinical medicine from China Medical University in 2007 and Ph.D degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.My PhD focused on transcriptional regulation of non-coding RNAs, microRNA and long intergenic non-coding RNAs (lincRNA) in skeletal myogenesis. After her PhD, she is now working as a postdoc scholar at Case Western Reserve University Department of Genetics and Genome Sciences to continue my research in genetic and epigenetic field. Her current work focuses on the chromatin architecture and 3D gene looping in various biological systems.

Research Interests

and Epigenetics Chromatin structure DNA looping and Transcriptional regulation.
