Biography

Joseph Curtis has supported life science firms manufacturing and marketing human cellular therapies, molecular diagnostics, nutritional products, and vaccines to health care systems worldwide. He is the Chief Scientific Officer and founder of Bio Quant Laboratories (BQL) a network of ISO17025 testing laboratories providing analytical testing services to firms across the U.S. and Canada supplying patients in state-wide and regional markets with plant-based medicines, botanical drug products, Non-GMO foods, and DTC genetic testing to support health and wellness. He is also focused on demonstrating how cognitive computing can be used to accelerate product development, improve consumer safety and promote the adoption of digital health. He serves on the board of directors for firms innovating across the biotechnology and health information technology domains. He obtained his doctorate in Cell & Developmental Biology from the University of California, Davis followed by post-doctoral training at the National Cancer Institute at NIH. He has been a part of teams introducing biomedical innovations into national markets including Canada, Japan and the U.S.
