Irami Araujo Filho has complted his PhD in Health Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and Post-Doctorate in Health Sciences from UFRN. He is currently working as Associate Professor II of the Discipline of Operative Technique at the Department of Surgery at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. He is full Member of the Brazilian College of Surgeons, Master of the Chapter of the Brazilian College of Surgeons in Rio Grande do Norte, Full Member of the Brazilian College of Digestive Surgery, Member of the Pan American Society of Trauma, Full Member of the Brazilian Society for the Development of Research in Surgery. He is Vice-coordinator of the Research Base in Experimental Surgery Clóvis Sarinho. He has experienced in Teaching, Research Manager at the Onofre Lopes University Hospital (HUOL) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte under the management of the Brazilian Hospital Services Company-Ebserh. He is Preceptor of the Medical Residency in General Surgery at HUOL and Vice President of the Regional RN of the Brazilian Society for the Development of Research in Surgery. He is Effective Professor of the Graduate Program in Biotechnology at Universidade Potiguar. He is effective Professor of the Graduate Program in Management and Technological Innovation in Health UFRN / EBSERH. Has experience in Medicine, with emphasis on General Surgery, Gastroenterology and Oncology.
