Biography

Yi Kou is known for his research in the DNA repair and polymerase field, especially on the carcinogenesis mechanisms regarding the N7 site of deoxyguanosine and its influence on polymerase beta translesion synthesis. He is among the major discoverers of the new DNA base pair patterns once the DNA bases get damaged by outside carcinogens.
